# I just opened my LootLabs account and my CPM is low, why could that be?

Low CPM on new account could be caused by our automated fraud detection algorithm,
our algorithm detects suspicious or fraud activity, causing the demand to use less exclusive ads resulting in low CPM.

If you believe this is the case for your new account please contact your account manager and ask him about this.
